TRANSPORTATION
Shuttle service is no longer available from Little Rock and Memphis airports. Guests flying in will need to make reservations for use of a rental car.

- The 2001 season opened with a bang with over 160 ducks shot on Saturday and Sunday mornings by Buckshot guests, including Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee
& son, David.
- Superbowl Champion Head Coach Joe Gibbs & son Coy Gibbs with other guests. Mr. Gibbs was head coach of the Washington Redskins and is a leading Nascar racing team owner.

- Jay Jacobs and the group from Holland Chapel Baptist Church of Benton, AR will continue their youth duck hunt annual tradition at Buckshot.
- Allen Hughes, of Avery Outdoors, guides a youth duck hunt on Buckshot's fields as shown on TNN's "Whistling Wings 5."
- Owner Sam Counce & Cole (his son),were featured on TNN's "Whistling Wings 7."
- Country music stars Daryl Singleterry & Rhett Atkins were honored guests at Buckshot Lodge on the weekend of January 20, 2001.
